Why should you look at G&L Tribute Guitars & what sets these guitars apart from the other guitars ?High Quality Tonewoods – The Tribute guitar bodies are made of high-grade swamp ash, excellent for the rich resonance that results in vibrant guitar tone and ample sustain and its attractive grain looks great under transparent finishes.
Extremely Comfortable Necks
The necks of the Tribute guitars are made of premium hard rock maple and the profiles and fingerboard radiuses match those of the corresponding USA models, so the Tribute guitars have much the same playing feel.Stellar sounding USA-Made Pickups – The Tribute guitars and basses have the same U.S.-made, handwound Magnetic Field Design pickups designed and patented by Leo Fender. They offer individual adjustment of each pole piece, letting the player effectively adjust the output of each string on each pickup. MFD pickups yield about twice the output per wind, making the pickup quieter while allowing a greater overall output. The sound of MFD pickups is slightly warmer with a broader frequency response.
The extremely flexible PTB Tone Control System on the Legacy
This allows independent control over the treble and bass levels of the guitar’s pickups. A typical Strat’s tone controls are just low-pass filters and don’t work on the bridge pickup. With the amazingly flexible PTB, you can dial out the brightness and dial in some extra bass to fatten up the bridge pickup. Or if you find the neck pickup just a bit too fat and warm, dial up the treble and back off on the bass. You’ll wonder how you ever managed with a Strat’s regular tone controls.
The super smooth and sustainful Vibrato System on the Legacy
It is equipped with G&L’s patented Dual-Fulcrum Vibrato. Leo Fender created this design to yield a much smoother, “silky” feel and allows the player to bend notes up as well as down. The press-in tremolo arm allows quick installation and removal, smooth feel, and also allows the player adjust the amount of resistance on the arm. The bridge block is much larger than other guitars in this price range, resulting in increased sustain.
Improved vintage-style Bridge on the ASAT Classic
It uses a traditional “ashtray” style bridge as on a vintage Tele, but has individual brass saddles which offer the classic twang, brightness and sustain without the compromised intonation.
The highly versatile Electronics on the L-2000 Bass
G&L’s Tri-Tone active/ passive electronics feature a highly flexible and simple to use control layout with a 3-way pickup selector, a series/ parallel switch and a preamp control mini-toggle. It makes it easy to dial in the growl of a classic P-Bass or the bite and definition of a good active bass. This bass is excellent at either tone and anything in between!
We Guarantee that you’ll soon be just as impressed at these amazing guitars!
