Taxi Violence is rated as one of South Africa’s top Rock ‘n Roll live acts. The band will deliver another unforgettable performance at Kirstenbosch Gardens on Sunday, 19 February, and will make sure to leave the crowd mesmerized.
“We are planning on making our show at Kirstenbosch as extraordinary as possible. We are playing mostly unplugged, accompanied by strings and piano. We’ll also have a few friends/collaborators from known bands that will be joining us on stage,” says George van der Spuy, vocalist for Taxi Violence.

New album to look forward to…
The band is busy writing some material for a new album. Taxi Violence will be going into studio early June 2012. “We are going back to our roots. We want to make a good old fashioned, toe-tapping, party-rock album. Something people can sing to and shuffle their feet to at the same time”, says George.
