Pearl Jam to headline Jay-Z’s Made In America festival

Pearl Jam are set to headline the Jay-Z curated Budweiser Made In America music festival, which takes place in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park on September 1 and 2.

Alongside sets from the rapper himself and Eddie Vedder and co., the two day Made In America event will see spots from Odd Future, Skrillex, Santigold, Janelle Monae, Rita Ora, Calvin Harris, Miike Snow, Passion Pit and Dirty Projectors while R’n'B star D’Angelo will make his comeback at the event.

Last week Jay-Z said he is ‘absolutely’ going to ask US President Barack Obama to play the festival. Speaking to Rolling Stone about Obama, he said: “I’m gonna give him a call and I’m gonna try to get him to perform – do a little rendition of Al Green… He’ll be so far into helping the world that he probably won’t have time, but I’m absolutely going to ask him.”

Jay-Z also said to Rolling Stone that he said he thinks his wife Beyonce should have a ‘little gap in her schedule’ in order to perform at the event. For more information, visit: Madeinamericafest.com
