Finally – a NEW LIVE MUSIC VENUE West of Johannesburg.
RUMOURS LOUNGE in Weltevreden Park (Westrand, JHB) is a new Live Music venue recently established and looking to showcase a variety of bands and live entertainment.
The venue comes with a full sound system & engineer, full backline and lights, at NO COST TO YOU. The venue is inside a shopping complex with loads of safe and secure parking.
If you are looking for a show date please e-mail Fred with the details of your band (including genre type) and an idea of what type of event you would like to host at RUMOURS LOUNGE. All music genres are welcome, but you need to move quickly as dates are filling up fast.
Events needs to consist of at least 3 bands running from 8:30pm.
Line ups of more bands are welcome but you must please check that there are no big sports events on the date.
Fully licenced bar so ALL EVENTS are for OVER 18’s ONLY.
The typical RUMOURS LOUNGE week runs as follows:
· TUESDAY – TRIVIA QUIZ NIGHT – Free entrance and all are welcome to come and take part in the fun.
· WEDNESDAY – ACOUSTIC OPEN MIC NIGHT – Free entrance with entertainment supplied by some top notch musos. All Musos are welcome to come along and showcase a few acoustic songs on stage. If you are interested please e-mail Fred for details.
· FRIDAY – LIVE MUSIC NIGHT – Cover charge depends on the bands playing. Live music from 8:30 as well as sports on the big screens all day.
· SATURDAY – LIVE MUSIC NIGHT – Cover charge depends on the bands playing. Live music from 8:30 as well as sports on the big screens all day.
· SUNDAY – OPEN STAGE JAM SESSION – Free entrance with music from 5:30pm. The stage is open to anyone that would like to jam and meet other musos. All musos are welcome to come along and showcase your talent on stage. Full backline is supplied all you need is your own instrument. If you are interested please e-mail Fred for details.
